Time is money

Time literally is money at an agency. Clients are billed in 15 minute intervals for agency work. But HRB gives me enough to do so I don’t have to worry about keeping busy.
I’m doing lots of writing. It is nice to flex my creative writing muscles again, even if they are a little sore. Forget any discomfort; there are people to be interviewed and Eblasts to be composed! I have even been doing a little research work. Few people get as excited about tabulating numbers as I do.
Wednesday morning I was able to attend the Corridor Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies award ceremony. Not only did I get a free breakfast, which was worth waking up 30 minutes early, but I learned a lot about the businesses in the area. And one of HRB’s clients won the Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Then, as soon as I arrived at HRB I had not one, but two meetings to attend. One was for a new account I get to help out with and the other was about writing a request for proposal (RFP). I’ve never been part of a RFP before so it’ll be a new experience, one of many new experiences I’ve been getting at HRB.
