Be Remarkable Campaign

The University of Iowa is a pretty diverse place. So when it came to giving the university a brand, the key was finding something that would work across the whole institution and would target many different audiences.

So, HRB set out to find out just exactly what unified the U of I. We spoke to a lot of people and did a lot of listening. The result? Our "Be Remarkable" campaign. The university of a whole is remarkable, but as importantly, the people in it.

The brand speaks to all audiences. Students, alumni, tax payers and professors. Now that's truly remarkable!

Binge Drinking Posters

How do you connect with University of Iowa students to help them realize the dangers associated with binge drinking? With the millions of messages they are bombarded with every day, we knew we had to come up with something very unique to stand out from the rest of the crowd.

In this case, we let some dramatic pictures do the talking. We paired an image of a person with countless piercings on his face with the tagline "You can overdo anything. Drink Smart." Or a picture of two people participating in a hot dog eating contest.

The message came across. Soon students were tearing our posters off buses and college buildings and hanging them up in their dorm rooms.
